Meet Tyrannosaurus Rex

Tyrannosaurus rex lived in western North America near the end of the Late Cretaceous Period, approximately 68 to 66 million years ago. Its name means “king of the tyrant lizards,” and its enormous skull, powerful jaws, two-fingered arms, and massive hind legs helped make it one of the most recognizable dinosaurs ever discovered.
