Bring an unusual chapter of World War II armored development to your collection with this handcrafted VK 45.01 (P) Porsche Tiger 3D LED lamp. Its broad tracks, forward-mounted turret, and distinctive heavy-tank profile make it a striking display for military historians, model builders, armored vehicle collectors, gamers, and tank enthusiasts.
The VK 45.01 (P) design is precision-etched into a clear acrylic panel. When placed in the illuminated LED base, the engraved lines glow to create the appearance of a three-dimensional German heavy tank floating above the stand.
Each lamp is handcrafted in the USA by our veteran-owned family business. Add custom engraving to create a personalized military history gift for a birthday, historical collection, model display, gaming room, memorial, or another meaningful occasion.
Every Carve Craftworks lamp is designed, precision-etched, and handcrafted in the United States. We produce our lamps in small batches so each finished piece receives careful attention before leaving our shop.
Add a name, collection title, vehicle designation, historical date, model-club name, memorial message, or personal dedication beneath the design. Multiple lines may be entered when needed. Personalized engraving can turn this Porsche Tiger lamp into a distinctive keepsake for a historian, collector, model builder, gamer, or military vehicle enthusiast.
The VK 45.01 (P) was Porsche’s entry in the competition to develop a new German heavy tank armed with an 88mm gun. It competed against the Henschel VK 45.01 design in 1942, but problems with its unconventional engine and drivetrain prevented it from entering production as the Tiger tank. The Henschel design was selected instead and developed into the Tiger I, while most completed Porsche chassis were later used to build Ferdinand tank destroyers.
The durable clear acrylic panel and dependable LED base are designed for long-term use. Its compact footprint makes it easy to place on a desk, bookshelf, nightstand, office shelf, game-room display, or alongside military memorabilia and tank models.
Battery operation requires 3 AA batteries, not included.
